Sai Baba of Shirdi, also known as Shirdi Sai Baba, is a revered spiritual figure in India, and his life and teachings have left an indelible mark on the hearts of millions of devotees. While the exact details of his birth and early life remain uncertain, the following is a general overview of the history of Sai Baba: Sai Baba arrived in the village of Shirdi, located in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, during the mid-19th century. He was first noticed sitting under a neem tree in the village, absorbed in deep contemplation. The people of Shirdi were intrigued by this fakir (Sufi ascetic) and gradually started approaching him. His compassionate and inclusive nature drew people from various walks of life.  Sai Baba's teachings were simple yet profound, emphasizing love, tolerance, charity, and devotion to God. He often used parables and stories to convey spiritual lessons. Many miracles and supernatural events are attributed to Sai Baba, including healing the sick, reading minds, and materializing objects. Devotees believe that these miracles were expressions of his divine powers. Sai Baba of Shirdi's life remains a tapestry of spirituality, humility, and love, and his teachings continue to inspire millions on their spiritual journeys.

Moving forward with that, in one of his 'Mandir', temple I started a food drive for everyone who visits the Baba or anyone who passes through the mandir. It is actually a  very old tradition in Indian culture to distribute food after the morning rituals or the evening prayers, more commonly known as 'Prasad'. On Thursday every week ( day known in the remembrance of Sai Baba or Sai Baba ka Din), we set everything up, and soon after the evening prayers and artis are over, people rush over to the stand where they line up. It is considered very divine to eat in the shrine of god and people think that the prasad is a form of blessing that god conveys to them for their well-being.
