After a month-long hiatus, I finally had the chance to visit the old age home again. The anticipation and excitement built up as I made my way there, eager to reconnect with the residents who had become like extended family.           As soon as I entered the familiar gates, I was greeted with warm smiles and heartfelt hugs. The residents' faces lit up with joy and recognition. Their warm welcome was a poignant reminder of the bonds we had formed over my previous visits. We spent the afternoon sharing stories and laughter. I brought along some summer fruits! Which was quite refreshing.           Leaving the old age home that day, I carried with me a renewed sense of purpose and a heart full of gratitude. The residents had not only welcomed me back with open arms but had also shared their warmth, wisdom, and love. This visit was a beautiful reminder that the bonds we create, no matter how small, can bring immense joy and make a meaningful difference in our lives and those

Today I went to Manas Joyti Das Old Age Home to spend my time with these beloved people. It consisted about almost 64 members and all were females. The first thing that struck me was the tranquility that enveloped the premises. The gentle rustle of leaves, the distant laughter of residents, and the serene ambiance painted a picture of solace amidst life's tumultuous journey. Walking through the corridors, I couldn't help but notice the photos adorning the walls—snapshots frozen in time, each telling a story of a life lived with vigor and resilience.           As I began conversing with the residents, I was humbled by their warmth and wisdom. Despite the inevitable challenges that come with aging, their spirits remained resilient, their smiles illuminating the room with a radiant glow. Each shared snippet of their life journey was a treasure trove of wisdom, offering profound insights garnered through decades of lived experiences.          I  also offered to cook som

Arriving at  Ghuwati, Assam for summer vacations, I decided to do the one thing that excites me the most; meeting people! In search for these people I stumbled upon Promod Talukdar Memorial Old Age Home: a adobe for elderies. The weathered gate, nostalgia washed over me like a gentle wave, carrying me back to days filled with laughter which I enjoyed with my grandparents. Unlike my grandparents they didnt have people like us, a person whom they can talk with and share their stories! For this purpose I decided to visit them and spread the fimilarity all over the place! Stepping across the threshold, I was greeted by the most wonderful and friendly uncle, who was a care taker in the organisation, he welcomed us with a big smile on his face! As I went inside I saw the fimiliar site; a picture of smiling faces. This home almost housed around 75 senior citizen which were brought upon from different places all over the country! INTERACTING THE KIDS DESPERATE TO LEARN THE NEW IDEAS          Science fairs have long been a platform for students to explore the wonders of scientific inquiry, ignite their curiosity, and showcase their creative and analytical skills. However, for underprivileged students, such opportunities can be scarce.  In a community where resources are limited and educational opportunities are few, a group of enthusiastic students decided to take matters into their own hands. It all started when we attended the  TribesforGOOD Summer Program  and found our Tribe. Recognising the transformative power of science education, we embarked on a mission to provide underprivileged students with an experience they would never forget – a science fair tailored to their needs.      It is through initiatives like these that we pave the way for a more equitable and inclusive society, where every child, regardless of their background, has the chance to explore their full potential. The story of these science fa

Exploring more in Ghuwati, I came up with one more old age home, Helping Hands Old age Home. It housed only male seniorities. I was surprised to see that from how far people have come. Some even came from Nepal and some from the other side of the country! But at end all that matters is that they were content and happy with everyone.            I spent almost 3 to 4 hours interacting with them. I was really in awe to know thier intrests at this age. Some liked to spend their time in religious matter, some were seeking out the joy of travelling around the city and some were only intrested in reading books and newspapers! It was a joy to see how productive they were under their compelling circumstances. Nonetheless, it was my pleasure coming to them and having one kind of a joy. And with me I brought some essential rationing for their everyday use.    A NEW CITY, A NEW ABODE AND RELATIONSHIP REMAINS THE SAME  OF LOVE CONNECTING THE TRUE VALUES FROM GREAT HUMANS

An unplanned visit can sometimes be a meaningful one too! As I finished my last exam today, I decided to go out in the evening while roaming around I saw an old age home in my locality; Sandhya Old Age Home. I wanted to visit them and interact with everyone but later I found that it was sanitation day where people from outside came and cleaned their surroundings and rooms for the residents. Sadly due to this the visiting was closed so I could not meet them properly but yes I interacted with some them who were sitting outside. It was a short sweet moment which banged my stress from the last exam. Although it was unplanned but it made my day! A NEW ABODE TO VISIT FEELINGS ARE THE SAME
