This blog chronicles my weekly visits to an old age home, where I have discovered a reservoir of wisdom, resilience, and untold tales. Join me on this emotional and enlightening journey as we explore the lives of those who have weathered the storms of time.

        Today I went there to be a part of their prayer service, the elderies sit regularly for their pyayer sessions and I wanted to join with them. It was a humble experince for me also. Later, we interactered for about 10 -15 minutes more, as it was time for their lunch, so we had to leave early. But small and weekly visits like these made my day and their day beautiful.

Rediscovering Fullfillness! / MOKSHADA CHOUDHARY

            Exploring more in Ghuwati, I came up with one more old age home, Helping Hands Old age Home. It housed only male seniorities. I was surprised to see that from how far people have come. Some even came from Nepal and some from the other side of the country! But at end all that matters is that they were content and happy with everyone.            I spent almost 3 to 4 hours interacting with them. I was really in awe to know thier intrests at this age. Some liked to spend their time in religious matter, some were seeking out the joy of travelling around the city and some were only intrested in reading books and newspapers! It was a joy to see how productive they were under their compelling circumstances. Nonetheless, it was my pleasure coming to them and having one kind of a joy. And with me I brought some essential rationing for their everyday use.    A NEW CITY, A NEW ABODE AND RELATIONSHIP REMAINS THE SAME  OF LOVE CONNECTING THE TRUE VALUES FROM GREAT HUMANS

A Heartwarming Return....../ MOKSHADA CHOUDHARY

          After a month-long hiatus, I finally had the chance to visit the old age home again. The anticipation and excitement built up as I made my way there, eager to reconnect with the residents who had become like extended family.           As soon as I entered the familiar gates, I was greeted with warm smiles and heartfelt hugs. The residents' faces lit up with joy and recognition. Their warm welcome was a poignant reminder of the bonds we had formed over my previous visits. We spent the afternoon sharing stories and laughter. I brought along some summer fruits! Which was quite refreshing.           Leaving the old age home that day, I carried with me a renewed sense of purpose and a heart full of gratitude. The residents had not only welcomed me back with open arms but had also shared their warmth, wisdom, and love.
